How is your circulation? Are you hyper-coagulable?

Viscosity or hyper-coagulability is a state when "clotting" proteins are elevated (i.e., fibrinogen and/or d-Dimer). These proteins can impair healthy circulation, which is needed to help deliver chemotherapy to target cells. Cancer cells can also "cloak" themselves in these sticky proteins, thereby hiding from the immune system. With low circulation, the delivery of oxygen to tissues can also suffer, and hypoxic (low oxygen) regions of a tumor can be resistant to treatment and more likely to prompt angiogenesis and metastasis.

In this module, you'll discover simple diet and lifestyle self-care strategies to help optimize your circulation and oxygenation.
